I searched for Gluten Free bakeries near me, and Gencarelli’s popped up in the search. They do not have Gluten Free options. Their regular bakery options cakes, donuts, pastries are all very good. I can’t wait to go back and try one of their sandwiches.
We ordered an Elsa-themed cake and cupcakes for my daughter birthday and everything was beautiful and delicious. The customer service was amazing — very patient, responsive, and helpful, answering all my questions. Highly recommend this bakery! ❄️🎂
Come to this bakery to gain 5 pounds. It’s worth it. Very nice staff. Everything is fresh and authentic. I got pastries & french bread. I’ll definitely return. I’m coming back for the googley-eyed cupakes next time. They remind me of how I think I look after I’ve drank 2 1/2 shots of tequila.
Ordered a cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday party. Everyone was so helpful in choosing the flavors and the decal on the cake. We went with a chocolate sponge with strawberry jam filling and real buttercream chocolate icing. Because it was a Bluey themed party, the sprinkles were blue and orange and it also had blue and orange balloons on it. Cake was a smash hit! One of the best cakes I've ever tasted in my life! Looked gorgeous as well! Will be getting all my birthday cakes from these guys from now on! ❤️❤️❤️ (Star is just an emoji to keep my daughter anonymous)
The bread at this place is so good. It's very difficult not to stop there two to three times a week. Something for everyone, for sure. A perfect place to stop before you go to someone's house and need to bring something.
I recently had a birthday cake that was done for our 1 year old granddaughter. The theme was the "Hungry catapillar". They did such a beautiful job on the cake and I had alot of help from Wendy & Thomas. Wouldn't hesitate to purchased from them again. The baker did a wonderful job and it was everything I asked for.
Much more than a bakery. The bakery is the star of the show, but they also have a lot other Italian goods you can shop amongst the shelves. They have a bakery section for bread and they also have some gelato and it looks like they're preparing to have a few other sections as well. It was packed when we went but they have a pretty decent parking lot and most people were in line for baked goods. We got a bunch of things and all of them were delicious. The cannolis were delicious and sweet and I want to go back for more. The lace cookies were also great and they even have really good brownies. They packed our stuff up in nice bags and boxes and we brought it home to share with family and it was a hit. Constructive criticism: the two younger employees who were running the bakery counter seemed a little overwhelmed and mildly grumpy. Maybe they just needed a little more assistance or it had been a long day but I'm just putting it out there that it could use a little bit of improvement.
Very happy to welcome Gencarelli’s to the Hills side of Wayne. The building is beautiful, clean, and open. Multiple options to satisfy your needs. Cakes, cookies, breads, gelato, sandwiches, grocery, etc. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Ordered a grilled chicken chipotle sandwich, it was huge, and delicious. Ordered a half pound of pinoli cookies, they were plentiful, approximately 14 cookies, soft, and covered with pine nuts. I was won over. Only suggestion is to provide outdoor seating. Congrats Gencarelli’s!
i was delivering paint for sherwin Williams & happened to deliver very heavy paint to the wrong address i was provided i was very frustrated but a kind nice lady happened to be working there & offered me a donut & a water & that MADE my day I was sweating putting all the paint back in the van BUT THE DONUT ! Was amazing 10/10 glazed donut with cinnamon added into it very delicious
So much bigger than the location in Bloomfield. Would get cakes all the time there. Worth the trip back here though. A lot of options of goodies. Got some of the food here. Will try the Sammies next time. Had to park in a spot that wasn’t in a parking spot cause it was fudge packed here. Went to ShopRite and Marshall’s after. I didn’t buy anything there.
